Coca-Cola Coke + iTunes Aluminum Bottles Germany 2007

Coca-Cola announced that it is teaming with iTunes on Europe's biggest music promotion ever, spanning 17 European countries and running from May until the end of August. As part of the promotion, Coke and iTunes will give away songs from the iTunes Store (www.itunes.com) in over 2 billion promotional packs of Coca-Cola, Diet Coke and Coke Zero this summer. The on-pack promotion will also offer customers the chance to win free iPods and attend some of the 100-plus Coke and iTunes sponsored summer concerts across Europe. The promotion will be launched at the Cannes Film Festival with a special live performance from Faithless, who have recorded an exclusive track for Coke and iTunes and collaborated with designers Paranoid on a limited-edition, aluminium Coke bottle.

"Coca-Cola has a long and rich heritage in music, from memorable advertising tracks to grassroots support to big live events. In Summer 2006 we started an innovative new partnership with iTunes," said Chris R. Burggraeve, group marketing director for the European Union Group. "Coke+iTunes aims to reinvent the ways young people create, listen to, and experience music every day. Thanks to Coke+iTunes, European youth will enjoy this Summer 2007 the biggest pan European music experience ever. And what better way to build bridges among European cultures than through music?"

"iTunes is the world's most popular online music store selling 58 songs every second at a rate of 5 million tracks a day," said Eddy Cue, Apple's vice president of iTunes. "We've already had great success working with Coca-Cola over the past year and this new pan-European initiative gives music fans across Europe the ability to download free music all summer long."

The Coke and iTunes summer concerts will see big name headline acts playing with newer acts from Coca-Cola's grassroots programme that allows undiscovered artists to upload their music on Coke's website (www.coke.com/music). All of the concerts will be recorded and made available as downloads and podcasts exclusively on iTunes. Previous co-branded concerts have included Elisa (Italy), The Fratellis (Denmark), The Rapture (Ireland) and Deichkind (Germany). The 17 countries where the concerts will take place are: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the UK.

With Apple's legendary ease of use, pioneering features such as integrated podcasting support, iMix playlist sharing, seamless integration with iPod, groundbreaking personal use rights and the ability to turn previously purchased songs into complete albums at a reduced price, the iTunes Store (www.itunes.com) is the best way for PC and Mac users to legally discover, purchase and download music and video online.

Coca-Cola Light Ellen von Unwerth Aluminum Bottle Germany 2009

Ellen for Coke light3 COKE LIGHT IN FASHION WITH ELLEN VON UNWERTH

German photographer, producer and a former model, Ellen von Unwerth, one of the most famous fashion photographers, has created an exclusive Coca-Cola Light bottle design.

From November 2009, the indigo-blue aluminum bottles in a limited edition of 39,000 pieces will be available at selected fashion events.

Ellen von Unwerth wanted to give the Coca-Cola Light bottle a striking appearance and a sense of glamor, lightness and energy. "It was very important for me to create a bold design that brings the strength, the strength and confidence of modern women. I prefer to tell a story in my pictures. When searching for a suitable image for the Coca-Cola light bottle, I immediately had this in mind, because it is sensual and a bit mysterious, and the typical form of the Coca-Cola bottle fits it perfectly".

After New York fashion designer Zac Posen and shoe god Manolo Blahnik represented their specific 'fahion-inspired' vision of Coca-Cola Light's style, Ellen von Unwerth has become the third person from the world of fashion, who collaboated with the brand.

In addition to the bottle design collaboration, this time Ellen also offers a unique opportunity for fashion-conscious women to win an exclusive workshop.

German women can submit their photos at www.cokelight.de to win the opportunity to take part in a glamourous photo shoot by gorgeous Ellen von Unwerth. At the end of November, jury chaired by Ellen herself, will choose a happy winner.

Zac Posen is known as gifted fashion designers. Well that his creation urge knows no bounds - it need not always be dresses and gowns. Exclusively for Diet Coke, he has just agreed to the design of the so-called aluminum bottles. Of which there will be only 30,000 pieces worldwide, and this only on special events, just buy at the store they can not. "I have chosen for the design points which can also be found in my collections. They therefore bear my signature - and it stands for courage and femininity, "he says. With the final draft, the go-ahead was given to a special campaign with the slogan "Coke light. In Fashion with Zac Posen. From a jumble of entries of young girls and their photos with an accompanying description of their style should be a particularly lucky ausgweählt. This is probably already in New York with their idol, and holds out the promise to be exclusively for them desingt a dress ...

Coca-Cola Faithless & Paranoid Aluminum Bottle France 2007

This Coke Faithless & Paranoid site has been around for a little while and has been described as a visual poetry application. It was created by the multidisciplinary collaboration of the music of Faithless, the video artists from Paranoid and the German interactive agency Argonauten. The process to create the site started with Paranoid and Argonauten creating the storyboard for the site that centers around Faithless character Mr. Neant. That story board was then given to Faithless who use the storyboard as inspiration for the music.

The site lets you create works of art using your keyboard, mouse, microphone and webcam. These devices will help you do things like define the shape, position, size and color of your personal artwork. Typing letters will make different shapes appear on the bottle. You can use the microphone to make the bottle shake and remove elements from the bottle. Different speeds of motion from the webcam will shuffle the elements on the bottle. The site uses a lot of elements of the Flash player I haven't seen in this combination before to create an engaging experience for a while but once I did it one time I didn't have any urge to do it again.

All of this artistic collaboration is to support a new limited aluminum bottle Coke has created with artwork from from collaboration. They used a new process to put UV ink on the aluminum so it it will glow in the dark and it is only being sold in the "hippest" clubs across Europe. Coke has been searching for a new and stronger brand position for a while so this It is an interesting start as they play to take the brand up scale with not only the project but the exclusive and limited edition bottle. It seems to be working since I was intruiged enough about adding a bottle to the collection of toys and collectibles in my studio that I took a spin through eBay and found a bottle on sale for $50. That is a little steep for me but it would look good next to my set of Tokyo Plastic figures.
